During a reorganization of their marketing team, Fost Plus was looking for marketing professionals who could not only take on new roles but also bring fresh energy and future-oriented thinking.

Through Talent Search, our permanent recruitment service, we helped them identify and attract the right talent to strengthen their team for the long run. 

In a recent conversation, Robine — Lead of Talent Search at The House of Marketing — and Laura, HR Project Manager at Fost Plus, reflected on their partnership, what made it work, and how they managed to turn recruitment into a true collaboration. 

The Initial Challenge: Strengthening a marketing team in transformation 

 

After a major reorganization within the marketing team, Fost Plus faced the challenge of recruiting several new marketing profiles to support their evolving structure and ambitions.  

 

Finding the right mix of expertise and mindset was no easy task. That’s why they needed an external partner who could combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, and who would thrive in a purpose-driven environment.

Together, we followed a phased and structured approach, applying the same process for each position: starting with an in-depth kick-off to define the ideal profile, then proactively searching, screening, and shortlisting candidates who combined the right skills and mindset. 

 

Because of our broad network of marketing professionals, we were able to reach a wide range of profiles, which allowed us to assess both technical expertise and personal fit. This combination ensured that every recommendation went beyond what was written on a CV and reflected the culture and values of Fost Plus.

In total, 4 permanent marketing roles were successfully filled — including the Marketing and Communications Director position. Over 100 interviews were conducted throughout the process, resulting in an average time-to-hire of around eight weeks. 

 

Each recruitment round was approached as a true collaboration — with open communication, short feedback loops, and a shared focus on finding the right long-term fit rather than just filling a position. 

 

Over time, this close way of working built mutual trust and created a smooth, efficient process that made every hire feel like a joint success. 

 

When asked to describe the collaboration in three words, Laura immediately replied: “Personal, efficient, and goal-oriented.”

From the candidate’s side, the experience was just as positive.
